After a fucking result this weekend, confidence is high in camp Sjarmanger. However there is still work to be done, and we need to shave another 2:34 minutes off the 10k on race day. My 10k was progressive, meaning I likely could have started at least a bit faster without blowing up, but I still need a bigger engine, and need to sustain the race pace for longer.
I am hoping to work on race pace, and maybe some >10k runs at lower speed to get used to the distance. Will discuss with my coach and report back.

This last week was a mixed bag with sickness but then really good results on my Saturday 10k.

Stats
Some good updates this week, in particular finally that stingy garmin gave me a +1 VO2max and reduced my lactate threshold.
Weight | 89,0 (-0,7 kg) (this was lower earlier in the week but has been fluctuating). |
VO2 Max(Garmin) | 46 (+1) Finally! |
Lactate threshold(Garmin) | 5:13 /km (-13) |
5k Prediction(Garmin) | 24:08 (-32 sec) |
5k PB | 24:41 (-2:06) |
10k PB | 52:34 (-9:52) |
Somewhere in my 10k I ran a sub 25 min 5k, unlocking another achievement, 6/12 now.
