Week 6 progress: halfway sitrep

We are about halfway there, with 5 weeks remaining until race day. I have not missed a single session so far, and there is definitely progress. I completed my first 10k, and just yesterday ran a 26:47 5k, which is a fair bit better than my starting point at like 36 minutes. On the flip side I am nowhere near maintaining race pace even at shorter distances, so increasing the speed and tempo will probably be an area of focus these coming weeks.

This week marked my first 10k, and more zone 2-4 sessions. I think we are almost to where this can be considered running.

I have a slight cold which I am hoping won't reduce this weeks training quality in any meaningful way. This coming week is a significant step up in volume, so
