Week 5 progress: win some lose some

This week started with a fun tempo session with 45 sec intervals with 15 sec pause. I completed the session with surprisingly results, but on further inspection my heart rate didn't really get that elevated. So after some strength work (hamstring curls), in a good old fashioned bout of overtenning™ I decided to do the session again. Which promptly resulted in an injured hamstring! Not good, and coach not impressed. I was sentenced to zone 2 bike for the next few days, before I could start running carefully. While back on my feet the hamstring is still not 100% and definitely impacting my training.


This upcoming Friday I have my first attempt at actually running 10km.. Stay tuned!
