First week in the bag in the journey to sub-50 10km. I have engaged a coach to structure my training, as I have no idea what I'm doing. It is fairly obvious he has little or no faith in me winning this bet, but I am hoping to win him over with awesome progress.
This first week is all about getting some movement in, and not immediately getting injured. Below is complete plan for the week. The program started midweek as that was when the bet was finalized.

I added a 1 hour morning walk every morning to improve fat loss and get some more movement in. Ideally I want to lose ~10kg over these weeks to make it more likely to succeed. There is a direct correlation between weight and speed apparantly, so I have to be less of a fatso by september 5th.
The creatine conundrum
I will try and have atleast one actual interesting thing (from a training point of view) in each weekly update, and this first week one decision I had to make was: should I use creatine or no? It is like one of the few super-studied supplements that is proven to work, but on the flip side it makes you bind water and thus increase weight. Which is the opposite of what I want, but I decided to go for it.

Overall first week has been fine, I have started moving a bit. My weight has increased which is not good, and also my left achilles is about as tight as a bowstring so I guess that needs to be kept in check somehow.
